Hi!
Sorry, the page is in Russian, but, I think, there would be more or less
clear.
The measurements are done for All-in-wonder VE card (ATI). RGB input.

So, the card is not suported by Linux for now (support in ATI says, that
documentation will come very soon, they are preparing it just now).
Basic features: noises are less than 70db(!!!): 12 bit(input) ADC (8bit
output to bus). And, it seems, that the
card is in the frames of GOST (Raussian state standart, that is strong,
really). Yes, the card is for RGB or YCrCb, S-Video (last 2 are not
tested). Colors need some corrections etc., but, really, it is the best
capture card for now (note, the price is approx. $150).
Card cx23888 is not so good (10bit). There are some problems with color
(seems, that people are playing tooo much with digital filtering) in
composite. But, s-video is nice. No RGB or YCrCb. So, it is not a
professional approach. Noise is low too (results will come later). Not yet
supported under Linux. maybe, there is a way to make the card work
correctly with colors: windoze driver is a black box for more or less
clear operations. So, people can not measure the grabber normally.
SAA7134. Good card. 9bit. Low noise. Good s-video and composite. Not nice,
but good. color is a bit better that in cx2388.

The tool used is professional (certified) one. If all the drivers for
cards like CX or ATI will come working, people will rewrite the software for
Linux.
