There are a number of valid reasons you might want to do that. No more free PCI slots for example (there are cards with 4 bt878 chips behind a PCI-PCI bridge through ...). Or if you don't build just a small number of these thingies, but alot of them (i.e. adding a second video device isn't just one card but thousands pieces of hardware ...). Gerd -- sigfault
