After i try it again, compile a new kernel and patch it with bigphysarea, it works and without any fails, and after it i recompile the kernel again after activate the config_bigphysarea and config_experimental (it says on the how to install Zoran-0.6.3) and the 2.4.20-bigphys show up!(thanks god) And after that the manual install says that i have to edit the /sbin/lilo to contain the line: append="bigphysarea=1024", the problem is i'm using grub as my boot loader (is it same if i edit my /sbin/grub?) and also when i enter the file (/sbin/lilo), it really confuse me, where i should put that line? (The file looks horrible to me) After that, when i want to modprobe all of modules, all is fine (i2c, videodev, saa7110) except modprobe zoran, it's failed because "unresolved symbol bigphysarea_free_pages" and "unresolved symbol bigphysarea_alloc_pages" on the /lib/modules/2.4.20-bigphys/kernel/drivers/media/video/zoran.o, am i make a mistake when i compile the kernel or there is anything else? And if everything is complete, with what i can see the capture, is it using xawtv or the other? --- Sincerely yours, --------- Original Message --------- DATE: 11 Jun 2003 18:19:24 +020 From: Ronald Bultje <rbultje@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: video4linux-list@xxxxxxxxxx Cc: >Hey, > >I've got little to so with the zr36120 driver, but I've used the >bigphysarea patch before, so I'll try to give some hints there. > >On Tue, 2003-06-10 at 07:40, KRISHNA - KURNIAWAN wrote: >> I want to setting a zoran 36120 cards and it doesn't support >> the bttv driver, i have already download the bigphysarea 2.4.20 >> and zoran-0.6.3 and patch it with bigphysarea and it was failed >> when compiling the makefile, and it was already confused me. > >Hm?
