The problem Kevin noted where he would get the same field returned again must be a driver problem. The bt848 does not have a field store, so there is no way it could be re-capturing an old field. I think it's pretty clear that what's happening is that the bt848 is dropping a field and the driver is just returning the data from the old buffer.
