I've since downloaded a later version of the quickcam driver, and have
successfully used it.

I've been trying to get one to work on and off for a couple of weeks
now. The best I've gotten is the driver loading, recognizing the device
is there, but a black screen from xawtv when I attempt to view anything
via this vend/prod values found in the code. The code references
0x46d/0x840 and I changed it to 0x46d/0x840. This maybe the problem I
guess, in that the quickcam I have may well be different then the one
the code was written for. I've caught snippets of references to two
different chips in these things, so that may be the case.

I didn't have to buy my radio from a specific company to listen
to FM, why doesn't that apply to the Internet (anymore...)?
