Hi Paolo Thanks for replying - sorry for the delay. I liked the idea and tried it, replacing the guicast directory. It wasn't that easy. After quite a few changes in makefiles and sourcefiles, I got it to compile. But the result was still the same - no thumbnails. I did the guicast, because I suspected this was responsable for the GUI, and might solve the problem. John
