Ops, seems a misunderstanding, probably I expressed myself in the wrong terms. Haven't tried to replace the GUI itself, but just the 2 libraries LIBMPEG and QUICKTIME. After the "not so easy" changes in the makefiles (some breaks and missing things... ) it compiled and it is running ok. The thumbnail problem is another issue. Nothing to do with this change... The idea to use the XMOVIE libs is just to improve the version of bcast once the libraries are newer.... and more complete. I've seen a mention about a "patch".. would you mind to point me the patch to see what's the diff between what I have and this "patch" ? > > I did the guicast, because I suspected this was responsable for > the GUI, and might solve the problem. > > John nonono. The GUI of XMOVIE is quite different of bcast. But the libraries are OK to exchange... I did it just fine. If you need some other tip or help please be welcome.
