You have to switch, yes. Some cards do it quickly (like
Meteor-II w/rapid channel switching DCFs, I hear), others
not so quickly. You have to be able to disable automatic gain
control or otherwise channel settling time will be intole-
rable (that depends, of course.) Then again, if you use many
cards with full frame rate, you gotta have a decent chipset
or you'll get some "nice" artifacts in the grabbed feed.
