Thanks Ronald - I am currently programming my v4l bt848 interface to give me yuv420p data, then using ffmpeg's mpeg-1 encoder to encode each frame as they are captured. The frame rate can vary from 1 to 30 fps (established initially). Is mpeg2enc suitable for this?
