Fair enough, mjpegtools recording really screws up here.

I've had reports of various brands, mine is a Terratec Cinergy 400 TV.

BTW at the moment I have a far more serious issue with it (actually with
both saa7134 and bttv drivers) that they crash the computer under
certain circumstances. Gerd cannot reproduce it though :-(

The sync problem I can do something about, the crashing not...
