In the last few days I had a deeper look at the v4l2 sources and tried to improve my knowledge about some kernel-2.6-techniques (like tasklets...). I came to the conclusion that writing an RDS driver can be done... So, I will start work now. I'll keep you informed on this list and on http://www.hjk-az.de/linux/rds/index.html (There is not much yet, but I'll improve it...) I have only a Terratec TV/Radio+ which uses a SAA6588 as RDS decoder. It is connected via I2C to a Bt878. Does anybody know about any other RDS decoder found on radio cards ??? It will help me a lot if you give me a hint and will increase the chance that your device will be included in the driver soon. Any help/comment is welcome. Hans
