Hi,

have some new on this.

After becoming cautious on kernel panics and in doubt on the build,
moved forward and set the A7V133 back to good performance, known to be
stable for 2 years now.

All this indifferent behaviour and those hidden breaks are gone for
xawtv-3.83
and the patches above.
Tried all to bring it down, but is not breakable here now.

It works at once with Xine and mplayer!
With Xine it keeps in grabdisplay mode and fullscreen is for both
available.
When mplayer also comes in, it modestly changes to overlay and when
mplayer leaves, grabdisplay can be used again. All audio is fine and can
be selected.

Did not see any strange on all three and system load is nothing to talk
about.

So think good old new gcc at least is fine, maybee something remains on
how to handle the board, no idea on the nvidia black box here.

The capture problem, except xawtv, is still there.
Tested only on tvtime, mp4live and kino. (kswapd?)

Xinerama on tv was on, acpi=off, no highmem, AgpFW and SBA off by
nvidia.
