Had some playing on the 'old', now obsolete, saa7124-0.2.4 from 20031601
on2.4.20 md9717.

Enabled debug options, except spinlocks, and have nothing.
For tvtime and the others all looks the same sad way.

New is, that all .avi capture modes are there and all can be
replayed with gnu-linux apps here around. The .jpeg compression mode is
more than fine enough for xinerama fullscreen and stereo on TV.

xawtv-3.8.2 is stable in capture mode here and thats new.

So really have fun now on 0.2.x for the first time :)

On an user account xawtv starts in overlay and all is fine, grabdisplay
keeps dark.
When started with the -noxv option, the black and white striped picture
appears outscaled to the left. By requesting fullscreen it comes only in
signalsize of the card. So there is a lot of autoconfiguring and rights
handling in the back.

Also tvtime does not even start on an user account.

thanks :)
