Hi, I tried to run the Jan 14 released saa7134 & v4l2 patches, but it causes a kernel panic on my system. It usually happens when xawtv or fbtv is executed, but unfortunately that doesn't help since the system locks up solid. Once on invoking v4l-conf, it caused a kernel panic indicating a null pointer dereference. (I don't have any further info since the TV display is rather fuzzy). My config: 2.4.20 + patch-2.4.20-kraxel, saa7134-0.2.3. Since it's triggered when fbtv is run in framebuffer mode, I think the Jan 14 release is broken (at least wrt. FV2K/saa7130 support).
