STB TV/FM Gateway Lockups

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,
I have a STB Gateway card I bought off ebay. I know this card works
from the earlier post (Sept 12: Re: STB PCI gateway pull) It is
the exact same card. I used the module options mentioned in the above
post but when I do a "modprobe bttv" my machine hangs. I was using bttv
0.7.97 on a redhat 2.4.18-11 kernel (null beta). I also tried using a
2.4.19 using the v4l2 patch and the only difference was I got a bit of
debug info before it crashed. (using the v4l2 bttv and not the bttv from
redhat)
It said:
	i2c-core.o: i2c core module
	i2c-algo-bit.o: i2c bit algorithm module
	bttv0: enabling ETBF (430FX/VP3 compatibility)
