Check your /dev for the device files /dev/video* and /dev/radio*

My QTvision gave blank menus untill I created the required devices (not created as part of a default Slack install).

I setup my bttv / Studio PCTVrave / QTvision following the instructions in the bttv HOWTO and it works perfectly.

Now, can anyone reccomend a decent antenna so I can get a stronger signal (and auto-tune without first turning off my monitor!)?
