This camera could be from a Philips EasyVideo or Winnov Videum capture
card. If so, and you can find the capture card, then you can use it
under Linux. Drivers are at http://www.thedirks.org/winnov/

The 8-pin connector has composite video, mono audio from the built-in
mic, power, ground, and I2C. The video is on the pin that would carry
the luma/sync signal on an S-Video connector.

I don't have one of the Philips/Winnov cameras with me, so I can't
verify the P/N is one of these for sure.
