Thanks a lot for the replies. I followed the above
instructions and I was able to install saa7134 and
others in /lib/modules/2.4.20-8/v4l2/. When running
"modprobe saa7134" I received these errors

/lib/modules/2.4.20-8/v4l2/saa7134.o failed
/lib/modules/2.4.20-8/v4l2/saa7134.o: insmod saa7134
failed

Kindly give some insight, what is going wrong.
