Hello there, I'm new to this list, maybe someone can help here. Found the address in the README of the bttv driver. My apologies if I would be wrong here. I'm trying to get a Terratec TV+ running under Debian 3.0r1. The drivers seem to load fine, but scantv is unable to find any stations and xawtv produces a window in which only the first few lines at the top are filled with snow, the rest is filled with a random color. First the xawtv window name says "1024x768, 32bit true color, (LE: bgr-) ", then it changes to "???". I've had a look at the card, it has the Bt848 and a Philips FI1216 MK2 tuner on it. The sound chip is reported as TDA9821. I've took the appropriate card=25 and tuner=5 settings from the CARDS file of bttv0.7.106. Very strange is the message "bttv0: PLL can sleep, using XTAL (35468950)", because the card should use PLL=2. I also tried the card with other distributions like SUSE 8.2 Pro, but the results are always the same... Here's the dmesg: bttv: driver version 0.7.106 loaded bttv: using 4 buffers with 2080k (8320k total) for capture bttv: Host bridge is VIA Technologies, Inc. VT8367 [KT266] bttv: Bt8xx card found (0).
