(libtool related) With nvrec I get full timeshift functionality, including sound, when I playback the .avi container files during they are still recorded on another machine over an nfs mount. (No stops and synced!) This machine needs an upgrade, PII 266 on an LX board and riva128, so drops in high res, but an recent Duron should do it. (An 1800 XP I already ebayed came as broken glass ...) Nuppelrec works with mplayer (rc5), divx variants play back with an old xine build (0.9.12 ;-) With qtrec .mov it seems not to work, but tested only with -vc DIVX. The files are playable. Special fun, like mp4live, nvrec can be started from everywhere (and even the machine with WakeOnLan). Might be also for those, who have wlan access in the garden. Greetings Hermann --
