saa7134: FlyVideo 3000 with saa7133 chip problem

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

I'm pretty convinced my problem is on the tuner side as I can use xawtv to
view video if it comes through SVideo, but not when I try to view TV. And
I'm quite certain it is driver related as the hardware works on a Windows
box I tested. Any help in trying to track this down would be appreciated.

The details on what I'm using, or have tried:
- xawtv_3.86
- 2.4.20 v4l2 kernel patches from 20030410
- saa7134_0.2.7 (tried 0.2.6 and snapshot 20030414) using insmod tuner=2 and
card=2
- FlyVideo 3000 NTSC with Philips saa7133HL chip

Another app, MythTv, uses a modified Nuppel encoder and it constantly dumps
out, "VIDIOCSYNC0: Input/output error". I see this in my log, which is a
"conflict" or "configuration" error message??
Apr 19 13:33:23 mythbox kernel: saa7133[0]/irq[0,1700474]: r=0x1000 s=0x10
CONF_ERR

xawtv exits with "v4l: read: Input/Output error". This only shows once, and
only when I exit xawtv. Here is my log after doing an "update" with
core_debug=2 and irq_debug=2
