Take a copy from somewhere else (previous > snapshot, kernel source tree, whatever ...). Ok, that worked. Now I have a new problem. If I run ./update, it segfaults trying to insmod cx880. My machine is usable afterwards, the only problem is that cx8800 just sits there, lsmod says it's initializing. dmesg shows me an oops. Do you have any idea what is causing this? Below I give some information given by the kernel (which is 2.4.20 btw).
