I had sent this mail below about the problem i was facing....please jus go through it first... now i have upgraded my system to red hat 8 and kernel 2.4 since i cudn't get the card wrkng on older version/.... not the default bttv driver recogonizes the card...correctly....but now if i am using camserv software to do video streaming...firstly camserv 0.42 doesn't compile on rh 8...and camserv 0.51 shows a blank picture with all rainbow colours....as i mentioned i am using sony EVI-D31 PAL camera... does anyone know how to solve this problem....Pls help me with it..
