Using new HD Tuner card with V4L

First, I\'ll apologize in advance.. I\'m a newbie to V4L, so I\'ll probably ask dumb questions. Sorry.

I just got a TV tuner card, which I am hoping to use in Linux. It is based on a Conexant Bt878 chip, so I am hoping it can be made to work, since many analog cards use that same chip. The card, the FusionHDTV by DVICO, can be seen here: http://www.dvico.com/products_mul_hd.html DVICO is in Korea, but it can be bought in the US through http://www.cinefx.com/

My first test was to see if I could get it working in analog mode. I can load the bttv module, and it recognizes the chip. But, the tv viewing apps do not display anything. So, I\'m looking for pointers on software to try, or other resources to aid in debugging this.

The main components on the card:
Conexant \"Fusion 878A\" 25878-13
Sony Analog/Digital Tuner (not sure the exact model number)
Oren demodulator OR51211AHQC

I guess it\'s similar to the Hauppage WinTV-D, but with a different tuner. Does the WinTV-D work with V4L?
