Now I can grab images using pgmgrab tool, my computer has 1GB RAM, I've limited it to 508MB because other size like 1020MB crashed modprobe, wich size should I set to avoid the bug you mention in BUGS file ?

Other bug, m2stream failed and crashed my linux, :
aie@claustre$ m2stream
Device node: /dev/video0
Device: meteor2 (#0)
Capabilities: capture via read(); streaming capture; select() call;
Video inputs on this device:
0: "Custom special" is an analog input, no audio
1: "Mono Channel 0 (R)" is an analog input, no audio
2: "Mono Channel 1 (G)" is an analog input, no audio
3: "Mono Channel 2 (B)" is an analog input, no audio
4: "Mono Channel 3 (R)" is an analog input, no audio
5: "Mono Channel 4 (G)" is an analog input, no audio
6: "Mono Channel 5 (B)" is an analog input, no audio
7: "Mono Channel 6" is an analog input, no audio
8: "Mono Channel 7" is an analog input, no audio
9: "Component-RGB Channel 0" is an analog input, no audio
10: "Component-RGB Channel 1" is an analog input, no audio
Video standards supported: PAL, NTSC, SECAM
S_PARM returned error 22
S_STD returned error 22

I've using a ccirrgb.dcf file, it seems the S_FMT ioctl is responsible of that crash.
Any idea ??

Cheers.

Ok, now v4l2 (videodevX) and meteor2 drivers are installed and my meteor2 MC card too. I've patched the videodevX.h file including <linux/highmem.h>, otherwise depmod command fails on
an unresolved symbol.
The card is available from /proc/pci, but modprobe meteor2 failed (segmentation fault) and from /proc/modules
meteor2 is : meteor2 364576 (initializing)
I've not set the kernel with mem=xxM to allow DMA, should I do ?

Yes, otherwise you won't be able to grab an image. But that shouldn't crash
the module on load. Please, enable full debugging (dmask=-1) and send me the
output from /var/log/messages (best off-list).
