On my Tevion md 9717 I see this also from the very beginning on 0.2.x
and yes,
it is still there.
It shows up now and then after many hours and with more experimental
apic
enabled I have seen complete dma control losses. (Means disk enters park
position and game over ;-)

It seems to be overlay framebuffer caused, since it don't happen with
tvtime 0.9.7, which doesn't make use of this.

Xawtv in overlay mode also still spents TV frames to pop ups and other
windows persistently, when moving them over it.
Zapping-0.6.6 (nice) can be forced by quick mode changes to show this
also in overlay in fractions of a second.
At last it crashes then in capture mode. Ended with Ctrl/c
it won't mute, but after reloading the modules it is working again.
Xawtv at this very point shows black in grabdisplay, changing the
channel
sometimes brings it back.

Same config, but plain 2.4.20 with kraxelpatch from Jan. 17.
