Winnov Videum and RedHat 7.3

Hello, has anyone successfully installed Bill Dirks' driver (http://www.thedirks.org) for the Winnov Videum PCI capture card and camera on RedHat 7.3?

I've just rebuilt my kernel to include loadable module support and the video4linux support, and it appears that the videodevX and videum components have compiled successfully, but when I try to run the test program Bill provides on his website (xcaptest), I get "No video device '/dev/video0'", and when I try to manually load the drivers via the following modprobe commands, it says it can't locate them:

modprobe videodevX
modprobe wnvvid

I'm pretty new to Linux in general and this is only the second time I've recompiled the kernel so I'm not sure where the process has gone wrong. Please help, thanks!
