Remember that the only problem is that I'm not getting sound when I load and then unload es1371. Also, I can watch tv on Windows (I'm dual boot), so that also tells me it's connected correctly. Ok, perhaps I'm not seeing the right mixer setting, but ALL my buttons on unmuted (they are always that way when I bring up the mixer). FYI I'm using tkmixer. I have 12 settings: Vol, PCM, Spkr, Line, Mic, CD, PCM2, IGain, Line1, PhoneIn, PhoneOut, and Video. Perhaps tkmixer doesn't have all the things it should. I'm also getting some sound related warnings when I boot, but I never paid attention to them since the bttv sound does work, at least in the beginning before es1371 is loaded/unloaded. I'll go back to those warnings and look at different mixers and report back to you. I'm always wondering if I'm missing some module. Perhaps at some point I'll give you a detailed listing of the ones I have and that might help. Cheers, Paul
