Just to be sure, i recompiled bttv-0.7.94 against a vanilla 2.4.18 kernel.

i can start xawtv.  It shows some static, and i can't change the channel.
It complains that the tuner type is not set.  Any clue which tuner works
for "PV-BT878P+ Rev 9D"?

This exact card is listed in the Prolink section of the Cards file so i
assume that someone, somewhere has gotten it to work ...
