Well unless Guide+ runs on the teletext system, no he is not talking
about teletext.  Guide+ is a proprietary system that updates a
television with data so that it can show an OS(D) viewing guide much
like the satellite companies.

It is a very proprietary system to which I think only RCA has access.
I have never seen a television other than RCA which uses the Guide+.
I don't know if the other television companies just don't want to play
or RCA got an exclusive or what.  A shame really.  I am shopping for a
new television now, and as much as I would like Guide+, I am not going
to sacrifice television quality for it.
