How do I stop mp1e.

  When I run mp1e as 

mp1e -vv -C pmmx -n 4225 > "/export/home/video/`date +%d-%m-%y_%H%M%S`.mpeg"

  it does not exit when finished.  Why does it not return to my prompt?  I am
running mp1e from CVS build today.  It's always been this way for me.
