To be fair though there is a lot of co-operation going on. Xine really
came about from OMS because OMS had tried to be to clever and stagnated.
OMS was a prototype and eventually shared the fate of all prototypes, planned
as or otherwise.

Ogle's navigation has been put into Xine, ffmpeg has been used within Xine
and so forth
