I currently capture real-time (from bttv 0.8.33) with mp1e (cvs) and will, when space requires it, convert the mpeg to divx4 (offline) using mencoder. Is it realisitic to replace any of these parts with gstreamer yet? How about playing? Is anything in gstreamer near what MPlayer provides? Specifically I output to my G400 using the framebuffer driver with the CTRCs configured to give BES functions to the TV-Out head. b. -- Brian J. Murrell
