Ezonics USB freeze

I recently hooked my Ezonics USB camera back up. I tried it under 2.4.17,
and 2.4.18, but after taking a few pictures, the camera freezes. The only
thing I get in dmesg are things like:

usb_control/bulk_msg: timeout
cpia data error: [0] len=0, status=FFFFFFEE
cpia data error: [1] len=0, status=FFFFFFEE
cpia data error: [2] len=0, status=FFFFFFEE
cpia data error: [3] len=0, status=FFFFFFEE
usb_control/bulk_msg: timeout
usb_control/bulk_msg: timeout
cpia data error: [0] len=0, status=FFFFFFEE
cpia data error: [1] len=0, status=FFFFFFEE

The cpia driver used to work fine for me in 2.4.7 (or thereabouts.) Anyone
have any similar experiences? This happens with every video appliation I
have (xawtv, camserv, gqcam, etc.) I'll probably start debugging tonite, but
I'd like to see if anyone knows if there are some USB problems, or if this is
strictly a camera driver problem.
