is this the only info displayed from /var/log/dmesg about the bttv chip?

also, i believe you can switch-on "--verbose logging" or "loglevel to a
higher level" for the bttv module.

here's a clipping of my /etc/modules.conf:

alias char-major-81 bttv
options bttv gbuffers=32 card=52 pll=0 radio=0

(gbuffers aids greatly when recording.)

1) add teh verbose option to the options line and then unload & reload
the bttv driver and check /var/log/messages for more specifics.
2) when modprobing the bttv driver, add it to the modprobe bttv
--verboseoption/loglevel and then check the /var/log/messages
3) add the verbose option to /etc/modules.conf and then reboot and check
the /var/log/dmesg after reboot.
