Re: Hauppauge WinTV PVR card information.

Is anyone actually looking at writing a driver for this card ?
it works so well under WinDoze apart from the always present GPF's I
would really love
to remove Bill G's code from my system & this is all that's holding me
back.
I have the card installed and a separate distroyable linux test partition
setup so if there's any
code that needs testing out I'm your man ;)

I'm using MD7.2 800M AMD, ATI Rage 32Mb
BC2000 works as advertised video not sound.
xawtv locks my system up complete :( I did try Riserfs to speed up
recovery from
a forced reset but Riser seems to have problems of it's own and ends up
thrashing the H/D
forever (well longer than 2 hrs anyway) with no chance to do anything
else even a 'ps -al' to see what's running!

Thanks,
                Frank.

ps, I am gdb literate.
