Re: Pinnacle PCTVPro tv (tuner MT2032 ?) problem

Hello,

I have investigated the second problem (no tuner
detection after reboot from wind*ws), as stated before
the problem comes from i2c_probe not detecting the
tuner, the problem is as follows :
the addresse is properly checked (0x60 << 1 = 0xC0),
but when calling i2c_outb (i2c-algo-bit) to give the
addresse on the i2c bus the sda stays to be 1 thus not
acknowledging, I have added some retry/wait
(3 x udelay(3)) to see if it is time related but it
does not make any change.

As I do not know anything about i2c bus or bt8x8,
it gets difficult for me to investigate.

Maybe a force reset of the bt8x8 may help (If I find
how to do that...).

Do you have any advice, clue, even documentation ?

Regards,
                              P. Cizaire
