Indeed.  I found this out a day or so ago.  I waited for the file to
get bigger and it did work.  Another drawback of using Div3 (DIVXrec)
vs. MPEG (mp1e) is that Div3 files don't seem to be "seekable" (using
up/down/left/right/pgup/pgdn in Mplayer) while they are being written
either.  No being able to wait 20 minutes into a 1 hour show so that
you can skip through the commercials (with Mplayer anyway).  :-(

Probably has something to do with what is written where in the AVI
file.  Maybe a table is written every so often or something.

Yeah, or for watching live TV.  :-)  Being able to pause and seek
through commercials is nice.  :-)
