Hey again, thanks for the help on the channel stuff, I ended up using VIDIOC_S_FREQ, and cutting a ton of stuff out of frequency.[hc] from xawtv. Works fine now. Second off, what exactly is the quickest way to capture stuff from the card. I notice that xawtv uses preview (at least as much as I can tell from breakpoints and from the -v 2 option), is this the fastest way to get data from the card (bt878)? And if so, why is that? I would have thought that the streaming interface would be the absolute fast way to get stuff out. Anyway, thanks a lot, Chris
