The bttv driver takes care of TV/video cards with a Brooktree/Conexant
Bt848/878 chip. Only those! If bttv can't find such a chip in the
system on initial loading, its response is "no such device", of course.

bttv is the wrong target then.

Join the DVB mailing list at www.linuxtv.org to get (voluntary) support
for problems regarding the DVB driver.
