I use a Creative Webcam Plus with the ov511 driver shipped with my kernel, but
i just can`t get it to work with ffmpeg and xawtv it worked with xatv for a lot
of time but now it stopped. I didn`t upgrade neither the driver/xatv nor xawtv.
Now when i start xawtv i get a blank screen and some messages like : ioctl
VIDEOCCAPTURE(1): invalid argument. As i am trying to use ffmpeg i get:
[Martin@Kaer_Morhen ffmpeg]$ ./ffmpeg -d /dev/video0 juzek.avi
Recording: avi, 10.0 seconds
Audio: mp2, 44100 Hz, mono, 64 kb/s
VIDIOCMCAPTURE: Invalid argument
Could not init video 4 linux capture
Everything [gqcam, camstream, webcam form xatv] works fine. Any guesses ?
