Hello, I've been trying to get my LifeView FlyVideo2000 FM Tuner to work for the last two weeks, I've read all the manuals I know to, and I'm really getting nowhere. - I've read in the docs it says to put the tuner=3 line in when I modprobe it, but I don't think that's the problem cause it's autodetecting on startup. - Here's the output from the dmesg: saa7130/34: v4l2 driver version 0.2.9 loaded saa7130[0]: found at 0000:01:09.0, rev: 1, irq: 10, latency: 32, mmio: 0xdd004000 saa7130[0]: subsystem: 5168:0138, board: LifeView FlyVIDEO2000 [card=3,autodetected] saa7130[0]: board init: gpio is 33500 registering 7-0050 saa7130[0]: i2c eeprom 00: 68 51 38 01 10 28 ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff saa7130[0]: i2c eeprom 10: ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff saa7130[0]: i2c eeprom 20: ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff saa7130[0]: i2c eeprom 30: ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff tuner: chip found @ 0xc2 tuner: type set to 37 (LG PAL (newer TAPC series)) registering 7-0061 saa7130[0]: registered device video0 [v4l2] saa7130[0]: registered device vbi0 saa7130[0]: registered device radio0 - This is standard kernel-2.6.0-test11, and I've tried CVS with no change. - Here's what happens when I try and change the channel with 'fm' sbh@rocket sbh $ fm 105.3 65535 Radio tuned to 105.31 MHz at 100.00% volume The sound gets louder but all it is is static, not bad static or anything like that, just static. -lsmod shows: sbh@rocket sbh $ lsmod Module Size Used by tuner 14532 0 saa7134 80588 0 video_buf 17792 1 saa7134 snd_mixer_oss 17088 0 nvidia 1698796 16 vfat 12608 1 - lspci shows: 01:09.0 Multimedia controller: Philips Semiconductors SAA7130 Video Broadcast Decoder (rev 01) But I still hear no station. I've tried different stations and no go. When I unload the module the static will go away to complete silence. Any ideas? I'm at a loss. thanks, sbh _____________________________________________ Free email with personality!
