Re: pixelview PV878P+ rev 9d; still have audio problems

Hi,
load tuner and bttv driver modules separately as follows.

  modprobe tuner type=5 debug=1
  modprobe bttv card=37 audiomux=1

This is my configuration. Change to u'rs accordingly.

Then if u can't hear sound after recording, it is not the problem
with streamer. The problem is with u'r mixer settings. Following is
the mixer setting of my sys.

[root@Suriya root]# aumix -q
vol 90, 90
pcm 85, 85
speaker 100, 0
line 83, 83, R
mic 0, 0, P
cd 87, 87, P
igain 35, 35, P
line1 0, 0, P
phin 0, 0, P
phout 67, 0
video 86, 86, P

Have a close look. To record the parameter "line" should be used for
Recording. check u'r system settings. check "man aumix" or the
following link. http://www.die.net/doc/linux/man/man1/aumix.1.html.
The audio output of tv tuner card should be connected to line in of
sound card for viewing TV using "XAWTV" and recording video+audio. No
doubt in this. For recording video use FFMPEG. http://ffmpeg.sf.net.
