I have an AverMedia TV98 capture card that works fine under Windows XP. Under Redhat Linux, I am using mythtv, and I can watch channels 18 and higher. The lower channels don't tune in. I suspect I need to tweak the tuner, but I don't know how to do that. I am fairly new to all of this. Any suggestions on how to get the lower channels to tune in? After starting mythtv, the command "dmesg | grep bt" reports: bttv: driver version 0.7.96 loaded bttv: using 4 buffers with 2080k (8320k total) for capture bttv: Host bridge is Intel Corp. 82845G/GL [Brookdale-G] Chipset Host Bridge bttv: Bt8xx card found (0). bttv0: Bt878 (rev 2) at 02:0b.0, irq: 3, latency: 132, mmio: 0xf8000000 bttv0: detected: AVermedia TVCapture 98 [card=13], PCI subsystem ID is 1461:0002bttv0: using: BT878(AVerMedia TVCapture 98) [card=13,autodetected] i2c-core.o: adapter bt848 #0 registered as adapter 0. bttv0: Avermedia eeprom[0x4101]: tuner=6 radio:no remote control:yes bttv0: using tuner=6 bttv0: i2c: checking for MSP34xx @ 0x80... not found bttv0: i2c: checking for TDA9875 @ 0xb0... not found bttv0: i2c: checking for TDA7432 @ 0x8a... not found tuner: probing bt848 #0 i2c adapter [id=0x10005] bttv0: i2c attach [client=Temic NTSC (4032 FY5),ok] i2c-core.o: client [Temic NTSC (4032 FY5)] registered to adapter [bt848 #0](pos. 0). bttv0: registered device video0 bttv0: registered device vbi0 bttv0: PLL: 28636363 => 35468950 ... ok bttv0: PLL: switching off
