Did you check the bttv driver
documentation? I know theres talk about what cards its known to not work
with (ATI TV Wonder VE is one I can think of off the top of my head, but
thats not what you're not using).

RTFM is my middle name :-) About the only doc I could find is
/usr/src/kernel-source-2.4.18/Documentation/sound/btaudio
and I dont understand it at all. I am sifting through my V4L archives,
which go back to 2000-08-10, but so far have not found any message
saying clearly 'I have btaudio working with card so-and-so, and this is
how I did it'.
Is there a list of cards for which btaudio is *supposed* to work? We
have tried btaudio on a Pinnacle PCTV Rave, and the btaudio module loads
