Yes, I've successfully accessed the audio on-device.
Some notes from last October: Note especially the mixer
setting doing record from video.

Hi all,
is ist possible to record/play the sound of my saa7134 (Flyvideo 3000)
without the external Patchcable?
I want to use this card with mythtv (www.mythtv.org) but when i record
something i get some noise and clicks on the record.
I searched the web and found these specs.
http://www.semiconductors.philips.com/acrobat/literature/9397/75010352.pdf
As far as i understand this document, tv-Audio is converted analog to
digital, then there is the sound processing (volume, balance) and then it
is converted back to an analog signal. Then it goue through the patchcable
to my soundcard and is again converted to digital.
Is it possible to run this card without the patchcable and get the audio
data via the i2s or pci bus?
Thanks
Flo
