Hi Juan,
Thanks for your kind words,
Let me know if there is anyway I can help out.
I simply installed RedHat 9, ran up2date to get the latest patches
(after editing /etc/sysconfig/rhn/up2date to remove the kernel* entry
from the package skip list)
then installed the cards,
I used this motherboard
http://www.msi.com.tw/program/products/mainboard/mbd/pro_mbd_detail.php?UID=356&MODEL=MS-6590
With an Athlon XP 2000+ CPU.
Regards
Pete

Ok, I'm giving it a try with the RH sources (2.4.20.2-48), and wait the best
(which surely won't happen). Anyways, after that, I'll try with the 0.9.x
series of bttv, if that doesn't work, I would like to try to fix it myself.
I've been already reading the "kernel internals" (the last time I read it was
for the 2.0 series, it's about time to reread it!). I didn't have time to
stop the computer to see the card in real life (for the numbers on the chips,
etc).
Since I'm not a hardware device programmer, I may come back here asking for
help (i'll sure do if I try to fix it myself).
Well, thank you very much (specially to Peter Farrow)
Cheers
