Hi Wan. Thank you for your answer. I was out of town so I couldn't answer you before. I think my problem is another. In order to do the TV sound works I installed a set of mixers Kmix, aumixer, gmix, vumeter, etc. This was because I did want to choose the best for me. Since I did these installations I'm receiving the following messages at KDE Startup: May 6 14:29:02 debian modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module sound-slot-1 May 6 14:29:02 debian modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module sound-service-1-0 I don't know if it affects it because all other sounds functions are OK ie Audio CD's and mp3. Let me review what you said Thank you very much ----- Original Message ----- From: Wan Tat Chee <tcwan@xxxxxxxxx> Date: Mon, 5 May 2003 13:31:07 +0800 (SGT) To: video4linux-list@xxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: [LONG] FlyVideo 2000FM - Good Video, No sound > On Mon, 5 May 2003, Wan Tat Chee wrote: > > > In addition, you MUST build the saa7134 and v4l2 modules using the > > same build tools (gcc, glibc) as the version you built your kernel with. > > You should also build the modules while the correct kernel version is > > running to avoid problems. > > One more thing, by default 'make install' puts it in > /lib/modules/<kernelver>/v4l2 which is not the normal directory for the > v4l2 modules.
