Hi Wan. Thank you for your answer. I was out of town so I couldn't answer you before. I think my problem is another. In order to do the TV sound works I installed a set of mixers Kmix, aumixer, gmix, vumeter, etc. This was because I did want to choose the best for me. Since I did these installations I'm receiving the following messages at KDE Startup: May 6 14:29:02 debian modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module sound-slot-1 May 6 14:29:02 debian modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module sound-service-1-0 I don't know if it affects it because all other sounds functions are OK ie Audio CD's and mp3. One late thing. In Venezuela we use NTSC. Let me review what you said Thank you very much ----- Original Message ----- From: Wan Tat Chee <tcwan@xxxxxxxxx> Date: Mon, 5 May 2003 13:31:07 +0800 (SGT) To: video4linux-list@xxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: [LONG] FlyVideo 2000FM - Good Video, No sound > On Mon, 5 May 2003, Wan Tat Chee wrote: > > > In addition, you MUST build the saa7134 and v4l2 modules using the > > same build tools (gcc, glibc) as the version you built your kernel with. > > You should also build the modules while the correct kernel version is > > running to avoid problems. > > One more thing, by default 'make install' puts it in > /lib/modules/<kernelver>/v4l2 which is not the normal directory for the > v4l2 modules.
