Well it did, sort of. I got it to run just as 'xawtv' and the display was 1/4
screen size and hitting 'o' gave me the menu alongside. Then I hit F1 to tune
the station from previous RH8 setup and did get picture and sound. (My sound
comes from the Avertv card stereo output it self). But when I hit 'f' for
full screen my keyboard locked up but picture remained and so did sound.

BTW what is the kernel with smp at end mean? Kernel is same number as mine.

Of course I have another bug in that the 'Terminal' I have for myself as user
is broken, It won't do anything as it errors outwith 'cmd has white space' and
I have not been able to fix it so far. I start Xwindows (KDE) from another
user and when I su to myself it is ok but the xawtv says wrong password.
So that remains before I can resume my getting my tv card running.
